cupcakes are usually the first thing that comes to my mind when i think of birthdays and birthday cakes. they are easy to serve, can be arranged in a variety of ways and make several different flavors to accommodate different tastes.
so speaking of birthdays, yesterday (sunday, october 21st) was my darling cousin's birthday. she is the closest family i have here in melbourne (next to my husband of course) yet i did not get to celebrate it with her. i was just simply busy with my own agenda.
since cupcakes are just great to wish your loved one a happy birthday i made these for her. these are our yummy hazel-choc-nut cakes in mini size.
