on halloween day (31 oct 2009), Didie Bakes catered 2 batches of apple streusel cupcakes for some relatives visiting from kuala lumpur, malaysia (KL). this apple struesel flavor received fantastic feedback when i first made them and you can read some of the feedback here. to my surprise and delight, my aunt picked it from the list of exotic cupcakes on the menu.preparation took place the night before and thanks to my loving hubby who stayed up with me, these lovingly made apple streusel cupcakes were completed a little after midnight.
on the day of the halloween party, all 8 of my relatives loved the cupcakes including my grandma who normally prefers savory to sweet! they even took half a dozen home and had them for tea the next morning and...as I was told via text message the next day, they were fighting over the remaining 6 cupcakes! hahaha. it truly pleases me knowing how my friends and family enjoyed Didie Bakes' cupcakes!
i guess all the little pleasures in life adds to our ultimate happiness and makes this life a truly satisfying one! :)
