tiramisu is my all-time favorite cake! tiramisu is an italian cake literally translated as "pick me up" or "carry me up" usually made by layering ladyfingers/ savoiardi soaked in a mixture of coffee & alcohol filled with mascarpone cream. normally it us chilled in the refrigerator and not baked, however didie bakes has just the perfect baked tiramisu in cupcakes form for you and your family.
i'll say just one word about these cupcakes and especially the mascarpone cream cheese: YUM! our tiramisu is a coffee flavored cake finished with mascarpone cheese cheese frosting & dusted with powdered chocolate. these cakes are very light & fluffy (thanks to the yummy vanilla buttercake) with just the right amount of sweetness, compliments of mascarpone & bailey's irish cream frosting! tiramisu cake is perfect for any type of gathering. and they are not too shabby on the eyes either ;)
